General Parviz Amin Afshar (Amini Afshar) was the last Commander of the Second Department (Intelligence) of the Imperial Army in 1979. He also was commander of the Royal Guard's Corp before that. After the Islamic Revolution, he arrested then executed by revolutionaries on roof of the Revolutionary Headquarters in Tehran in February 20 of 1979.
