General Manouchehr Khosrodad born in 1927 in Amol. He was the founder and the first commander of 23rd Airborne Special Forces Brigade. He was also head of the Equestrian Federation of Iran.
He was executed in 15 February 1979 by Islamic revolutionaries on roof of the Refah school in Tehran.
